An overview of the RF Micro Fusion (A total Rejuvenation for Aging SKin)
Micro Needling or Non-Invasive Mesotherapy has gained a lot of attention in the past couple of years, as its value for rejuvenating skin has become better known. People who hear about Micro Needling are naturally intrigued - specifically in regards to our procedure. With that in mind, here are answers to the most common questions surrounding this procedure.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
This procedure is most often used to reduce signs of aging on the face such as fine lines or wrinkles, as well as to smooth the appearance of acne scaring.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Just as the name implies, RF Micro Fusion or Micro-Needling pricks the skin with tiny sterile disposable surgical stainless steel needles. These micro-spots stimulate the body's natural healing process, and the renewed production of capillaries, collagen, and elastin produce smoother, plumper and youthful skin.
DOES IT HURT?
No, due to the clinician cleansing your skin and then applying a topical numbing agent to the procedure area to relieve ay potential discomfort.
WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE?
Virtually any adult is a good candidate for this procedure. While many other type treatments are not recommended for people with certain skin types, micro-needling is safe and effective for all skin colors and types due to not causing damage to the epidermis.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DERMA-ROLLER AND A MESOTHERAPY GUN?
A derma-roller is a small tube or ball-like device impregnated with tiny surgical steel needles and fitted with a handle. The most advanced of micro-needling technology uses a mesotherapy gun or radio frequency or both which is entirely different then the derma-roller. The tool we use at Skinetics 1 is a Micro Pen and it far more maneuverable, making it possible to treat virtually any area on the body, and the needle cartridges are sterile and disposable, to ensure sterile technique and complications like infection. Needle lenght is adjustable, so procedures can be "custom tailored" to each clients needs.
HOW LONG DOES SIT TAKE?
A RF Micro Fusion (micro-needling) takes just 30-60 minutes, depending on the type os skin condition and the size of the procedure area. Multiple sessions may be recommended, about 1-4 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. It is important to note that everyone's skin is not the same and results may vary.
WHAT ABOUT DOWNTIME?
Aside from some mild post procedure pinkness, there is no downtime associated with RF Micro Fusion when the procedure is done with a mesotheraopy gun. Immediate results are seen after the first session.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
This is sonething you should discuss with your nurse during your FREE CONSULTATION. Cost depends on several factors, including the fusion product you choose, the condition we are treating, the size of the procedure site and the number of follow-up treatments recommended. Skinetics 1's prices are normally $225 to $1200 with great package discounts to make it possible for you to obtain quality, safe, comfortable, and professional treatments.
WHO CAN PERFORM MICRO-NEEDLING OR RF MICRO FUSION?
Derma-rollers are still in use for at-home and day spa treatments, however, Skinetics 1 has highly skilled technicians, esthesticians , and nurses performing these treatments. These treatments are done using the Universal Sterile Techique Codes of Standards to ensure client safety and to achieve the best possible results.
We use Class 2, FDA Cleared micro mesotherapy gun in our treatment sessions.
